It provides free silkworm eggs and technical support while guaranteeing purchase prices for cocoons, ensuring stable income for farmers regardless of market fluctuations. The company bears millions of yuan in additional costs annually for this purpose. When silk meets tourism, traditional industry radiates cultural charm. In 2016, Dadilan seized the opportunity to be recognized as a provincial industrial tourism demonstration site and invested 130 million yuan to build the Silk Cultural Park. The park features exhibition areas dedicated to silk culture, mulberry and silkworm culture, Xinghua culture, and corporate culture, as well as a silkworm-raising experience room. Centered on the theme of “mulberry, silkworm, silk, and silk fabric”, the park offers immersive experiences: visitors can reel silk by hand, make silk floss, touch intangible cultural heritage techniques in the silk museum, and purchase exclusive silk souvenirs in the cultural and creative store. Since its opening in April 2018, the park has welcomed over 50,000 tourists in the first two months alone, generating an additional 5 million yuan in monthly revenue and creating jobs for more than 50 women in nearby towns. Annual visitor numbers now exceed 400,000, making “Dadilan” a new cultural landmark in Xinghua and allowing the world to understand China’s story through silk. Today, the park receives 20–30 tour buses daily, with an average of 1,300 visitors per day and a monthly total of 40,000. This integrated project, combining mulberry cultivation, silk processing, and cultural tourism, has created a new industrial tourism model for Dadilan, further extending the industrial chain and expanding the company’s development space.
