A "blusher" is the optional layer of veiling that covers the bride's face as she walks down the aisle. In some ceremonies the person "giving the bride away" will lift the blusher for presentation to the groom, and in others the groom lifts the blusher away as the couple are pronounced husband and wife, just before the first kiss.
The top (or shortest) layer of a 2 or 3 layer veil can be used as the blusher, or you can choose this option to have a separate Velcro detachable blusher layer. |
